In-person event is taking place at the ExCel, London on the 27th April.
Green Custard Ltd, an award-winning professional services company and AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, will be supporting Britvic plc’s introduction of their Flavour Tap, the UK’s first pure water and flavoured digital dispense tap, at the AWS Summit 2022 taking place at the Excel, London on Wednesday 27th April.
The Digital Flavour Tap, with connected elements developed by Green Custard and Britvic plc using AWS cloud and IoT capabilities, will be on display in the AWS Innovation Hub. Senior members of Green Custard’s engineering team will be on hand all day to answer any technical questions about the project. Scott Mackenzie, BTB Product owner at Britvic plc will also be giving a short resume of the project during the IoT session titled: Unlock the potential of your IoT data taking place in the Capital Suite at 14.30.
Aimed at offices and retail environments, Flavour Tap reduces plastic bottle use by dispensing zero calorie flavoured water into reusable containers, providing a more sustainable and healthy way to enjoy beverages. The removal of single use plastic also helps reduce transport, refrigeration, and manufacturing costs.
“The drinks industry has historically been heavily reliant on single use plastic and other non-eco-friendly processes” explains Jonathan Custance, Co-Founder of Green Custard. “Using our deep knowledge of AWS IoT services, combined with our expertise in embedded software and mobile app development, we’ve been able to support Britvic in their drive to introduce sustainable working practises as well as reduce transport, refrigeration and manufacturing overheads by developing this innovative solution quickly and cost effectively.”
