2018 has been a fantastic year for the team with the welcome of new members, top projects, and accreditations aplenty.

So, before we all begin the festive period, here’s our summary of what we’ve been up to …

Caring at Christmas

Instead of Christmas cards or corporate gifts, the team decided to donate to Cambridge Food Bank instead. We each collected key items and made up hampers which will be distributed to Cambridge families who are struggling to make ends meet.

This really is a great cause as although Cambridge is considered a prosperous area, the reality is that there are many families who struggle financially and Christmas is a very difficult time.

We’d like to thank Conscious Communications for raising awareness among the St John’s Innovation Centre community, and for passing the hampers on for us too.

The top slot

Earlier this year, we were named one of Cambridge’s most influential businesses alongside the likes of ARM, Cambridge University, and John Lewis. The listing was put together by Cambridge News who were looking for the brightest and best businesses from in and around the city as part of their 130th anniversary.

One of our highlights from Software-related news is our recent AWS accreditation. We now have Select Partner status which is a great step forward in our AWS Partner Network (APN) journey. We’ll talk more about this in our first blog post of 2019!

Projects aplenty

We’ve been working on a wealth of both ongoing projects and interesting new challenges across a wide range of customers such as JLL, Cambridge University Press, and Intamac. We’re currently beavering away on the case studies so look out for these in the new year!

It’s not just the new projects we’ve been celebrating the success of, it’s previous ones too! Like the Fluidity One instrument that we worked on with Fluidic Analytics, which has just been named one of the Top 10 Innovations of 2018 by The Scientist.

Bigger and better

As a fast-growing company, we’ve welcomed talented engineers Charlie, Terry, and Vitor, plus our wonderful Office Manager Amanda who keeps everything running smoothly and provides lots of social events for us all.
