Today marks an important milestone in the Green Custard journey . . . it’s our 9th birthday!

This morning we welcomed fellow residents from St John’s Innovation Centre and the building’s team to our office to celebrate. Resisting the urge to serve up actual Green Custard (we wanted people to turn up after all), we provided some tasty branded cake and enjoyed getting to know our neighbours a little better.

Green Custard was founded by James Green and Jonathan Custance in June 2009. Having both studied Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, and following the sale of their first startup, the entrepreneurs fused their surnames together to launch Green Custard.

Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, creating custom software for a wide range of customers across Cambridgeshire, London, and beyond. Year-on-year we have welcomed new faces and are now a 15-strong team . . . and growing!

Our birthday celebration comes just six months after moving into our new office, which marked another important point in our growth story. With our excellent team, loyal customers, and exciting projects on the horizon – we’re already looking forward to celebrating our first decade!
